Varanasi Animal Fair receives a huge response, witnesses many activities
The Varanasi Animal Fair was organised in the Vikas Khand Seva Puri. It is also known as the Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Animal Health Circle Level Fair. Surendra Narayan Singh, the MLA was the chief guest in the event.
To encourage Women Empowerment
There were many activities organised in the Varanasi Animal Fair. 21 women were also facilitated for looking after animals at their homes. The aim was to encourage the women empowerment. Even a service team was also facilitated on the occasion, that was selected by the Chief veterinary officer and the Niti Aayog.
Services to animals
A total of 2,672 animals were registered in the Varanasi Animal Fair. Artificial insemination was done for 12 animals. Also there were 15 such animals, who underwent the surgery. Free medical treatment was provided to 1845 animals. Dispensation was done for 1465 animals. The company Veerbach provided free drugs in the fare.
The Varanasi Animal Fair was conducted by the Chief veterinary officer Dr V B Singh. Even the Deputy Chief veterinary officer Dr Shiv Singh was also seen in the fair.
Awards to students
Three teachers of the RN Public School, Admapur Gorai has been facilitated on the occasion. Also three girl students has been awarded with the prize. MLA Neel Ratan Patel Neelu was not there in the fair but Dr Vansh Bahadur Singh was present on behalf of him.
